Marillion
Marillion
are one of the UK music scene’s best kept secrets; purveyors of soulful, powerful, and often deeply-moving music, whose blistering live shows leave their audiences breathless.
When Fish, Marillion’s original lead singer, left the band in 1988 after four albums he was replaced by the charismatic Steve Hogarth. A former member of The Europeans and some-time collaborator with The The and Julian Cope, Hogarth brought a new heart and energy to the band.
In the face of ignorance and apathy, Marillion continue to defy preconceptions and labelling. The band has evolved into a vibrant musical force – to those who already love Marillion, they’re something special; to everyone else they’re a love affair waiting to happen.

Jah Wobble
Hurled out of the desolate
streets of Stepney at 18 and into the nascent Public
Image Ltd. (PIL), Jah Wobble was
fundamental in shaping the virulent nihilism of punk
into sonic and melodic extremes that evoked everything
from dub reggae to Stockhausen. In Lydon, who was
always more of a theorist than he dared admit, Wobble
found the perfect early foil. It was PIL's avant garde
experiments on Metal Box that ushered in
a credibility to punk's more frivolous tendencies.
"Miles and miles ahead - follow with care" was how
the NME described those new sounds.

Neck
Their rowdy, uplifting live show's now established them as International Festival favourites from Moscow (in front of 7,000) to Texas: they had an anti-racist single 'Everybody's welcome to The Hooley!' in the UK Top 100 & Indie charts in March 2006 while the band were at SXSW in Austin. They've done six U.S. Tours & countless European, UK & Irish ones - hitting audiences square between the ears and raising new fans with every gig they've played; including with their U.S. contemporaries (& mates) The Dropkick Murphys & Flogging Molly. They headline small festivals in Europe & 2nd stages of larger ones (i.e. Paas Pop, Holland). And, amongst others, it's their fifth year at Glasonbury & Rebellion / Wasted in the UK this year. + They got encores at The Levellers' Beautiful Days & Solfest Festivals last year

Sabai - 12.30 p.m.
Around six years ago, two talented
musicians called Fiona and Miranda met at a party
in Thailand and decided to combine their skills to
form the contemporary folk/pop duo Sabai.
They experiment with many genres ranging from pop,
folk and jazz to rock and reggae, woven together by
violin, guitar, and luscious vocal harmonies. The
result is a delightfully melodic blend of styles that
the girls use to great effect, transforming popular
songs, and wooing audiences with their self-penned
compositions.
