Alchemy Dragons
Story Telling and Guided Dragon Walks
We would love you all to meet our beautiful baby Dragons. We have several of these delightful creatures, all carefully hatched from their eggs at a small Dragon sanctuary in the Welsh Marches.
Or what could be more magical than a well-woven story? Since the earliest people realised there was a a tale to tell, we have loved to sit, listen and join in the weaving.

Mini Melodeon Workshops
Ray and Bev can provide up to 30 mini melodeons for participants to play. These workshops include an opportunity for the whole group to learn to play a scale and a simple tune or two.
Workshops are ideally 45 minutes to 1 hour in length.
Percussion & Songs:
Fun percussion workshops are a rhythmic riot and a great introduction to playing with a band. A wide range of percussive instruments can be provided, if you can clap your hands or stamp your feet you can join the beat!
Well suited for younger children and families – although we would not expect to have children under 8 attending without an adult.
Session length: 45 minutes
Longsword dance workshops Provided for up to 30 participants at a time. Wooden swords are provided and dancers learn simple figures from the North Skelton Longsword dance, which can then be woven into a short sword dance for performance.
Morris dance workshops Provided to encompass a range of styles e.g. Cotswold, Border or North West morris. If time permits this can lead to a final performance with morris kit provided. Numbers participating are only limited by the available space.
Mini Crafts and Messy Crafts are special workshops for children 6 years and under, each child arrives and everything is in place and ready to create, everybody leaves with something they made. Messy crafts often involve paint and get quite….messy!
Maskerade: Participants choose from a range of different types of masks and decorate to make individual creations. This can then lead to a Maskerade Procession to show off the creations. Suitable for any age.
Green Man or Sun Moon & Stars Plaques (one of decided in advance): Can cater for children over 5. Children work with air drying modeling material to create their own plaque and paint it within one session.
Session length: 1 hour – not a drop in activity
Drop in Creative Crafts: Can cater for any ages – participants choose from a range of crafts on display they can make, stick, colour and end up with an item to take away. Numbers are dependent on the size of the marquee. These sessions can be either family or children (but not unaccompanied under 8’s) Session length: Either a timed session eg 1 hour or on a Drop In Basis. This can be a totally flexible activity
